Making a Phoenix Egg

Phoenix Egg

This phoenix is hatching out of the fire.  The egg was painted with red finger nail polish to give the egg strenght.  After the first coat paint the second coat with red crackle finger nail polish.  Cut a hole for the phoenix and hot glue him in the egg.  I used a small piece of cardboard to hot glue rocks to form a ring then hot glued the egg to the rocks.  For the flames use red and yellow clear plastic wrap hot glued to the rocks.  The phoenix I purchased at Michaels.
