Three years ago my daughter bought me an ostrich egg as a challenge to see what I could do with it.  Shortly after my husband had a bad fall down the stairs and we decided we needed to find some place that was flat. So the ostrich egg was packed away for the move.  When we unpacked I couldn’t find it and gave up that it had been discarded during the move.  At Christmas we were going through some old ornaments and found the egg.  The shell was so tough my husband went through two diamond bits cuting the shell.  I bought a couple of different bunnies until I found one that fit.  The base I found at Hobby Lobby in the floral section.  The rest was just hot glue, flowers, and gems.
