Train Cake for Dad

tromas the train 044

Is the guy in your life a train nut?  Well I have one!  He went so far as jacking up center support beam in the basement and moving it so that his trains could go back and forth between the rooms.  The only thing I could visualize was watching the middle of the house cave in and everything slide down into the basement.  True story!

Anyway, for the train nuts here are two trains that would make any dad smile on Father’s Day.  The 3D mold I purchased at Michaels.  The railroad tracks are Hershey’s chocolate bars.  If you have some aggressions that you need to get out, put some Nilla Wafers in a plastic bag and use the back of ice cream scooper or meat tenderizer to make a sand for your railroad tracks.  Oreos make up the wheels and pipe in the rest.
