Making a Griffin Egg Night Light

griffin egg

This griffin egg was made using an Ostrich egg.  To cut the egg I used a drill to make a hole then using some needle-nose pliers to gently chip out the opening.  The egg was painted black and when the pain was still wet I sprinkled in some gold glitter.  Once all was dry then I used a clear sealant.  The gems were on a role that highlighted the front of the egg.  At the bottom of the egg is a small hole which I inserted a flameless tea light to make this is to a unique night-light.
