How to get out of the dog house for Father’s Day Tip #7

Garden Cake

Gift Idea – My father is a farmer at heart so my brother and I bought him a wheelbarrow and some tomato plants for Father’s Day.  This is a great gift and hopefully he would forget about the streaking.  Fat chance!  Watch what you buy your father because it could come back to haunt you and boy did this one.  Since I was grounded I was recruited to assist in the digging, hauling manure and planting.  He really did love the gift.  So if you have a backyard gardener you might want to consider putting together a wheelbarrow some plants or seeds but I draw the line with manure.  Miracle Grow for plants is a great substitute.

The dirt for this cake are made with crushed Nilla Wafers.  The carrots and cabbage were made with fondant.
