Father’s Day Idea Chocolate Covered Oreos

Oreo Thin Chocolate Covered Cookies

If you Dad has a sweet tooth you could make him some chocolate coated Oreos.  The molds you can find at Michaels or JoAnn craft stores.  Use chocolate Candy Melts and melt them and stir the chocolate until all the lumps are out.  There are a lot of different flavors of Oreo.  The mint/chocolate or peanut butter are the most popular.

Father’s Day is right around the corner.  My book has lots of easy cakes and candy project  My books are on Amazon.com in Kindle and paperback.  Amazon had a lending library that once you sign up you can read as many books.  For some of the special candy molds like the chocolate tool box, tools, special pans like the dump truck can be ordered online.  I found most of my candy molds on KitchenKrafts.com.

Dirt Bike Birthday

My grandson’ 8th birthday party was a dirt bike park in Orange California.  All of the kids rode for two hours and even the adults joined in.  My daughter sent me a picture of the kids on the way home and they were all asleep.  Happy Birthday Dorian

My grandson always come up with the hard cake designs.  This year is motorcycles on a dirt track with dinosaur (dinotraks) chasing them.  This year he helped by making all of the jumps.  The kids had a great time.

Mother’s Day Cake

Sometimes the easy gift for Mother’s Day is home-made.  Make Mom a cake with some fun flowers.  The flowers and leaves were cut from a cookie cutter and fondant.
