If you want to be the first person invited to the holiday parties show up with a platter of these little charmers. Both were made with silicone molds which you have to extra careful with the gingerbread boys or they will lose a hand or foot. But not to worry you always need to taste test to make sure what you are serving is up to your standards. My grandchildren loves when I break one. I just give them an icing bag and they go to town.
These happy little snowmen were made using a silicone mold purchased at Hobby Lobby.
This Christmas Tree Cake was made using a Nordic Ware Pan. Decorated with MM’s and edible stickers this cake only lasted 10 minutes in our charity bake sale today.
I found this little cupcake train silicone mold at JoAnn’s Craft store. Peppermint wheels and candy in the box cars will delight any little Santa’s elves.
I found this stocking cake pan last year at the Goodwill Thrift Store. If you don’t have a pan you can make a 1/4 sheet cake and cut it to the stocking shape. I made the Christmas trees with a candy sucker mold and the snowflakes on top are also made with a candy mold using candy melts purchased at your local craft store.
These little Christmas trees are baked in a silicone pan that the top of the tree is at the bottom of the pan. I decorated them with mini MM’s, sprinkles and stars. To find the perfect base I used a mini frisbee from Party City was the perfect size.
One week to go before the next charity holiday bake sale. Time to get busy. These sucker molds don’t take any time at all to make. Decorate the trees with some star confetti sprinkles and these treats are ready for the bake sale. They are also great for class room parties.
The snowflake silicone baking pan I purchased at Hobby Lobby and just had to give it a try. Started with just white buttercream then added the blue and some blue sugar crystals.
Another sugar sheet I discovered are these cupcake cut outs along with the border which I cut into small columns around the sides to decorate this little cake. I purchased the sugar sheets are Michael’s craft stores or you can also buy these online. A great way to bring a lot of color to your cakes or cupcakes.
Refrigerator magnets are fun to make, as well as fun to receive. A couple of years ago my daughter and I had a photo shot will our dogs and my granddaughter. We used old Halloween costumes to dress up the dogs and even put the hot dog costume on my granddaughter. We put together a fun calendar for the family and also used the pictures to make refrigerator magnetics. You can get buy the magnetic sheets at your local craft store and dress your magnet with stickers or borders. I used Walmart to make the calendars.
When you want to make a fun cake and don’t have time to make flowers, the new sugar sheet edible stickers are a fast and easy way to decorate your cake.
